Don't Miss Out On Los Angeles Vacations

If you'd like to see Los Angeles, you're not alone. With its beautiful weather, beautiful beaches and beautiful people, many of its citizens just came for a visit and never left! A Los Angeles vacation is a great option for people of all ages!

The things that usually come to mind when you're considering a vacation to the Los Angeles area are Hollywood and Disneyland, and it's no wonder, because they're the top destinations in the area, with the famous beaches and upscale shopping close behind.

One of the most famous Los Angeles vacation destinations is Hollywood, where the Boulevard has gotten a lot of facelifts and is in a revival of its glory days. Check out the famous Mann's Chinese Theater and see how you measure up with the celebrities who have put their hand and footprints in the cement sidewalk there. Then get a bit of a walk down the Walk of Fame and find your favorite star's name. There's also the Entertainment Museum, if you can't get enough of movie and TV stars.

Disneyland has always got something new going on, and it's got a new cousin in the neighborhood too... Disney's California Adventure. Disneyland is not only "the happiest place on earth" it can be one of the most crowded! If you want to avoid crowds at Disneyland while you're on a Los Angeles vacation, you should go during the off-peak season (late summer), off-peak hours (early in the morning), and off-peak days (the middle of the week).

Another great place to visit when you're on a Los Angeles vacation is a combination of theme park and a "star" attraction. Be sure to check out Universal Studios, a theme park that grew out of a studio tour. Other great theme park attractions in the Los Angeles area are Six Flags Magic Mountain (great for roller coaster fans) and Knott's Berry Farm.

Los Angeles vacations are never complete without hitting the beach! Head on over to Santa Monica for a beautiful beach and hang out on the always-fun Santa Monica Pier. It's got a working Ferris Wheel, an antique carousel and lots of arcade games for the kids, as well as many great restaurants to take a bite when you need to. Nearby Venice Beach is fun for people-watching too, it's got Muscle Beach and lots of other performers sure to entertain you.

If you want to do some shopping while you're on your Los Angeles vacation, be sure to check out the famous Rodeo Drive. If you don't want to spend your budget on the luxurious goods inside the stores, just take a walk or drive down the street and take in the sights. Like everything in Los Angeles, it's always fun to look!
